Jannat ul Firdous Meaning.

Jannah literally means "garden," while Firdous means "heaven." But to go a step further, Islam holds that there are numerous levels to Heaven. The highest of all the seven Jannahs is Jannat-ul-Firdous.

It is the location of the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH), who stated in a hadith given by Abu Hurairah (R.A) that:

The Prophet (Peace be upon him) declared, "Those who believes in Allah and His Apostle, offers prayer properly, and fasts during the Ramadan month, will be granted Paradise rightfully by Allah, regardless of whether he battles for Allah's Cause or stays in the country of his birth." "O Allah's Apostle!" the populace cried out. Shall we inform the populace of the good news? According to him, Paradise contains 100 levels, each of which Allah has divided into 100 grades for Mujahidin those who fight for His Cause. The distance between each level is equal to that between Earth and Heaven. Ask Allah for Jannat-ul-Firdous instead of anything else because it is the highest level of Paradise. (I believe the Prophet also said, "Above Jannat-ul-Firdous lies the Throne of Beneficent (i.e. Allah), and from it originate the rivers of Paradise," the sub-narrator continued.) [Hadith 48 in Sahih Al-Bukhari, book 52]

Jannah Verse from the Quran.

The Quran has two mentions of the word "Firdous."

Indeed, those who have believed and performed good deeds will be able to stay in the Gardens of Paradise. [Ayat 107 of Surah Kahf ]

Those who will succeed Jannat-ul-Firdous. They will be there for all time. [Quran 23:11]

Description Of Jannat-ul-Firdous.

The qualities of Jannat-ul-Firdous are given below;

1). Foods of Jannat-ul-Firdous.

Momin would be able to eat and drink without interruption for the next 40 years.

Every dish they served would have a different flavor.

• They would exhibit eructation, which breaks down food, and sweating would seem to be done in order to break down water.

2). Place names in Jannat-ul-Firdous.

• In Jannat-ul-Firdous, there would also be gardens.

• Each garden would have a length that required a 100-year voyage.

• There will be no throne for the plants in these gardens.

• Their shadows would cast very heavy shadows.

• The size of their leaves would be comparable to an elephant's ears.

• There would be rows of fruits.

• Those who love one another for Allah's sake would receive one pillar of Yaqoot.

• Which would contain 70,000 (seventy thousand) rooms.

• Just like the sun beams for those who live in Duniya, these rooms would shine for those who inhabit in Jannah.

• The layout of these rooms in Jannah allows for 70,000 (seventy thousand) sheets of dining linen to be kept in each room.

• There would be 70,000 different types of dishes as food servings on each dining sheet present.

• Eighty thousand (80,000) young guys would scurry about them like the lovely strewn pearls to serve Momin.

• The length of 12 arms would be equal to the length of a typical bunch of dates.

• A date would continue to be the size of a large pitcher.

The plants would have stems made of silver and gold, and they would be sweeter than honey, softer than butter, seedless, and whiter than milk.

• There would also be a vineyard. The size of that one grape would be comparable to that of a large pitcher; those would be the larger bunches of grapes.

Once a guy asked the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), "Will that food be enough for me and my friends?" It would be sufficient for you and even for your entire tribe, he (PBUH) said.

3). Jannat-ul-Firdous Canals.

Jannat-ul-Firdous would have four canals:

1. Honey

2. Milk

3. Water

4. Sharabun Tahoora

4). Jannat-ul-Firdous Fountains.

Three fountains will also be present in Jannat-ul-Firdous:

1. Zanjabeel

2. Kafoor

3. Tasneem

Characteristics of Applicants for Jannat-ul-Firdous.

As the Manbaa' (Source) of all the rivers of paradise, Jannat-ul-Firdous essentially consists of all the rivers of paradise. The people who spent their entire lives in devoutness, believing in Allah, the hereafter, and working righteously, doing all Allah had commanded us to do from good deeds and forsaking everything Allah had forbade us from doing, are the ones who will enter Jannat-ul-Firdous.

Following is a list of some of those deeds that, if Allah wills, we can all attempt to perform to the greatest extent possible in order to obtain Jannat-ul-Firdous.

1). Making Your Character Better

I guarantee a house in Paradise's environs for a guy who refrains from arguing, even when he is right, a house in Paradise's middle for a man who refrains from lying, even while joking, and a house in Paradise's upper region for a man who has improved his character. [Ibn Dawood]

According to the Hadith above, the one who seeks to live their life in accordance with the Quran and sunnah is also the individual who has been promised Jannat-ul-Firdous.

All of us may find it difficult to refrain from the harmful actions stated in this Hadith, but keep in mind that the fight is for a greater reward.

2). Taking Care of the Tongue

I will guarantee paradise for whoever guarantees for me what is between his legs and what is between his jaws. [Tirmidhi]

Developing our character includes learning to control our tongues, and it is an arduous task. We Muslims, however, nevertheless seek to "say good or remain silent."

3). Keeping the Five Daily Prayers.

Allah, the Exalted said:

I made five times of prayer required for your people, and I took a promise that if anybody observes them consistently at their times, I shall admit him to Paradise; if anyone does not consistently offer them, there is no such guarantee of Mine for him. [Abdul Dawood]

If Allah (ta'ala) wills, keeping up with your daily prayers is a surefire approach to residing in Jannat-ul-Firdous.

4). Following the Sunnah Prayers

Whoever prays twelve rak'ahs during the night and day in addition to the regular prayers, a mansion will be built for him in Paradise, Umm Habibah is reported to have remarked. (An-Nasai)

Every Muslim is required to perform the five daily prayers, and many of us make every effort to do so. However, our Lord is gracious and has provided a means for us to perform more prayers in order to earn a place in Jannat-ul-Firdous.

5). Looking After Orphans.

The Prophet of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, is quoted by Abu Huraira as saying,

The best house among the Muslims is the house in which orphans are decently treated. The home where orphans are mistreated is the worst among Muslims.

He pointed with his two fingers,

I'll be in the Garden like that, and the guardian of the orphan. [Adab Al-Mufrad].

The fact that the Prophet of Allah (SAW) was an orphan and frequently expressed his appreciation for those who care for orphans in society is well known. One of the surefire methods to win Jannat-ul-Firdous is to look after an orphan, and who wouldn't want to spend eternity with the Prophet of Allah (S.A.W)?

6). Creating and Maintaining the Masjid.

According to the Prophet, whomever constructs a mosque no matter how big or small for the sake of Allah will have a home built for him in paradise. [Tirmidhi]

We can be assured of Jannat-ul-Firdous by visiting Allah's holy shrine. You can participate in building one, build one by yourself, or pay for one's construction costs.

The Prophet of Allah reportedly said:

"Whoever removes something bad from the mosque, Allah would create for him a dwelling in Paradise, according to a recounted statement by Abu Sa'eed Al-Khudri by Ibn Majah.

If you've ever entered an unclean mosque, you know how crucial it is to keep the building free of dangerous objects and contaminants. Since this is Allah's (ta'ala) abode, we should work to make it a secure space that is used solely to remember our Lord.

We should refrain from all faults, be meticulous in adhering to the Shariah, and spend more time with the pious Muslims in addition to doing dua for achieving Jannat-ul-Firdous.
